Advanced IC Engineering, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 and has become a diversely talented electronics engineering company. Our offices, laboratory and manufacturing facilities are located in Maryland, USA. ADVICE designs and develops software, components, boards, products and systems for itself and many repeat customers.

ADVICE supplies EFC with hardware and software research and development, safety approvals, volume manufacturing, documentation (drawings, manuals, web pages), training and integration services.

ADVICE created a platform used for modem software development.

ADVICE designed and prototyped multiple data/telecom boards as well as standalone microprocessor-based systems. We also developed ATM chipset drivers and provided embedded software development services.

ADVICE designed and prototyped a large test board for a Packet over SONET (POS) product being developed by Integrated Telecom.

ADVICE supplies board layout and prototyping services for Technosys. We also designed and developed a standalone internet protocol stack (UDP/IP/ICMP/ARP/IGMP) optimized for Motorola's 8101 DSP. We also developed a Linux application that tracks aircraft for an airport runway incursion system.
